SuperPure Astaxanthin
SuperPure® Astaxanthin is formulated with certified organic astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis algae at 6 mg per capsule, grown in glass (never plastic) tubing. When exposed to intense UV light, certain algae species produce the antioxidant astaxanthin. Unlike many antioxidants that work only inside or outside the cell membrane, astaxanthin spans the membrane bilayer. It is paired with a phospholipid complex from sunflower lecithin, built to carry this fat-soluble antioxidant into the membranes.
