Sleep at Your Ideal Temperature
Pod 6 heats and cools the bed for one or two sleepers. The Cover shifts from 55° to 110°F for personalized temperature-controlled setups, and dual sleepers can separately control each side of the bed.
Autopilot Adapts in Real Time
Eight Sleep’s AI, called Autopilot, creates a more personalized sleep experience for up to two users. It learns your sleep patterns and preferences, and automatically adjusts your sleep temperature throughout the night to promote deep sleep and minimize wakeups. Requires a 12-month subscription.
Health and Sleep Tracking
Built-in biometric sensors on each side of the Pod track how much you moved, what positions you slept in, and your health metrics, including:
- Heart rate averages
- Heart rate variability
- Breathing rate
- Snoring
- Sleep stages (light sleep, deep sleep, REM)
In the morning, you can review your sleep and health data in the Eight Sleep app.

Pod 6 is the sixth generation of Eight Sleep’s award-winning sleep technology. The Pod is a smart mattress Cover that cools and heats your bed while simultaneously tracking your sleep and health metrics. It goes over your existing mattress, so you can take advantage of the smart sleep technology without replacing your entire bed. Or, if it’s time for a bedroom overhaul, you can pair the Pod 6 with Eight Sleep’s supportive mattress in full, queen, king, and California king sizes.
Pod 6 is an intelligent mattress Cover, powered by a small Hub that fits under most bed frames, personalized to you in the Eight Sleep app. Once connected, you can manage your settings and review sleep habits from your smartphone.
You can also expand your setup and target specific sleep needs with the Eight Sleep Base, Blanket, and Pod Pillow Cover (sold separately).

Yes, but some features will be limited. During a Wi-Fi outage, Backup Mode automatically connects the app directly to your Pod via Bluetooth. You’ll only be able to turn your Pod on/off, adjust the temperature, and do a few other manual tasks until your connection returns.

The Eight Sleep Pod 6 core uses a water-based thermal system to actively heat or cool your sleep surface. You simply fill the Hub once with water using the included fill bottle. Then, every night as you sleep,that water circulates through the Cover, cooling or heating on each side of the bed. Biometric sensors embedded in the Cover track your sleep stages in real time, then adjust the temperature accordingly without you having to lift a finger.
The Pod 6 Cover fits most mattresses. Standard sizes go on just like a fitted sheet, and Solo sizes on a queen, king, or California king attach with mattress straps that go under the bed.
