Background
Pulsetto had offered HSA/FSA payments through another provider for more than a year, but wasn't satisfied with the results. The prior provider enabled HSA/FSA payments as a checkout method, but there was no marketing engine behind it to drive new customers to Pulsetto. At the same time, peer brands were describing HSA/FSA as a top-two revenue source. Pulsetto switched to Truemed in January 2026. Within three months, HSA/FSA sales were running 3X its final quarter with its previous provider.

The Approach
After switching to Truemed, Pulsetto launched a brand page on the Truemed Marketplace to drive brand discovery with health-conscious HSA/FSA shoppers. Truemed also featured Pulsetto across its owned channels, including its newsletter with ~500K active email subscribers, to drive new customers.
That demand layer is what Pulsetto's previous HSA/FSA provider couldn't offer. The Truemed Marketplace put Pulsetto's vagus nerve stimulation devices in front of potential new customers already in HSA/FSA discovery mode. The share of HSA/FSA sales driven by the Truemed Marketplace more than tripled in the first four months, reaching 19 percent in May 2026. Pulsetto's HSA/FSA sales now run 5X ahead of the same period last year.
